Joe graduated from Southwestern College in Phoenix with a Bachelor’s degree in Bible Theology. He has served in the capacity of Youth Pastor and Senior Pastor, in three churches, for over twelve years. Joe has been the pastor of Compass Bible Church since May of 2003.

He has a great heart for children as a result of coaching them for over five years with Athletes in Training here in Phoenix. He has also written a book titled, A Little Child Shall Lead Them.

He and his wife Kelly love caring for their two foster children, spending time outdoors, encouraging others, and enjoying the Lord in every day life. They believe the motto “Live well, love much, and laugh often” helps to keep them focused.
